Strategy Program Development Lead

The Strategy & Program Development Lead supports the wellness and improved health efforts of a group of people through the effective use of a facility devoted to exercise, nutrition and other elements of wellbeing. The Strategy & Program Development Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.


The Strategy & Program Development Lead designs wellness programs to encourage usage of the guidance center. Collaborates with clinic and regional leadership to ensure overall strategic alignment with patient health goals. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of technical experience
  • 2+ years of project leadership experience
  • Previous experience working in a managed care field
  • Progressive business consulting and/or operational leadership experience
  • Management level experience
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Sound knowledge of HIPAA and HITECH Act
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Health Information Management/HIM and/or Electronic Medical Records/EMR
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting data trends

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Specialty Referrals authorizations and processing
  • Medical Terminology, Billing and/or Coding experience/knowledge
  • Provider Relations or Provider Contracting experience/knowledge
  • Knowledge of Health and Wellness Program Administration
  • Bilingual English/Spanish fluent levels-highly desired
  • PMP or Six Sigma project management methodologies knowledge
  • MS Access, Project, Visio
