We are seeking a full-time Pharmacy Operations Supervisor of Procurement in Overland Park, Kansas.
Flexibility to work rotating shifts between the hours of 4:30am and 10:30pm Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays is required.
The Pharmacy Operations Supervisor, Procurement will supervise a staff of 20-30 employees working multiple shifts at full production. This role will be working in a high volume pharmacy environment and will supervise inventory staff to:
- Purchase medications for Home Delivery
- Transact all outdated and damaged medication returns to the reverse distributor
- Hire and train staff as needed
- Monitor employee performance and administer coaching/counseling when needed and do annual performance reviews
- Create and maintain departmental policies and procedures
- Maintain company benchmarks on metrics for the procurement department
HS Diploma or GED
Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a high volume pharmacy, production, procurement or supply chain environment
Minimum 1 year of procurement experience
Minimum 1 year of project management experience
Must be competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Able to spend up to eight hours a day working on computer, standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- 3 or more years of procurement experience
- Experience using Oracle systems (ie, EBS)
- Previous Pharmacy experience
