The Supervisor of Provider Data is responsible for various activities related to the provider network database which may include any or all of the following: database maintenance, reporting and extracting data for various reports and analyses, initiating database improvement. Supervisors of Provider Data develop and maintain standards for database integrity and quality assurance, coordinate corrective activities to clean database and retain users, and manage communication processes with other departments regarding database improvements. Other responsibilities include conducting audits and providing feedback to reduce errors and improve processes and performance, maintaining current provider data to ensure the quality of the network, and may be responsible for representing the provider network area on company IT projects, reporting and tracking provider calls and complaints, or for the support, coordination, and production of the paper directory cycles.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Own output at task level

  • Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion
  • Coordinate work activities with other supervisors
  • Develop plans to meet short - term objectives
  • Identify and resolve operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment
  • Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan
  • Product, service or process decisions are most likely to impact individual employees and / or customers (internal or external)

Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years data analysis and / or audit experience
  • 1+ year of experience in managing cross functional projects and making presentations
  • 3+ years customer response / customer service experience
  • 1+ year of supervisory experience
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in tracking, trending and reporting on metrics
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must live within commutable distance of the location listed for this specific career opportunity
  • Willing and able to travel 10% nationally

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience writing policies and procedures
  • Experience within the Healthcare Industry
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Access
  • Experience with CPS platform; preferably within PFS/CUS
