Position Summary

¿ Manage the development, strategy, planning and execution of all targeted marketing direct mail programs. Build a one to one relationship with customers that will drive increased loyalty, resulting in increased store trips and sales.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the Loyal Customer Mailer (LCM).
    Collaborate with merchandising and CPG partners to develop offer bank and secure vendor funding. Participate in vendor negotiation meetings, update contracts post meetings, execute agreed upon campaigns, and track performance. Leverage offer engine and campaign management system to define the customer audience and offer strategies, as well as development of the mail files with complex versioning. Work with internal Advertising team to write creative briefs and manage creative development. Coordinate e-mail and offer visibility via app and website with Digital Marketing team.   • Develop and implement multi-vendor targeted mailer programs to deepen relationships with customers and drive incremental sales while meeting category and vendor needs. Includes defining strategic targeting plans, working with merchandising to source vendors to participate and fund offers, managing execution of the production of the mailers, and sharing post analysis with vendors and category teams.
  • Serve as the targeted marketing expert for the team to help Category Marketing team, LOB teams and vendor partners to achieve category business strategies, including targeted direct mail, email and Catalina programs
  • Plan, execute and manage eCoupon seasonal programs with Quotient and other partners.
  • Act as a liaison to IS project management and development teams to ensure the organization¿s coupon technology meets the needs of the business and champion enhancements as necessary, including Campaign and Offer Management Tools.
  • Oversee continuing development and execution of the corporate coupon policy to ensure customer satisfaction while actively supporting Retail Operations needs. Respond to escalated Customer Care cases. Consult and communicate with Customer Care and Retail Operations departments to develop customer responses to targeted marketing and coupon issues.
  • Manage and develop one direct report by overseeing the specific functions and projects he/she manages
  • Manage the special promotions/ coupon redemption budget. Provide monthly forecasts and variance explanations.
  • Build fiscal plan at AOP to gather funding approval, prepare monthly campaign results summaries for P&L meetings and present updates and results to Executive Steering Committee on periodic basis.
  • Share information cross-brand and cross-channel where appropriate. Partner with enterprise marketing counterparts to enable cross-brand collaboration, shared learnings and best practices, people development, and overall GE/MD/GG-related digital, traditional, and shopper marketing bench strength.
  • Collaborate with all departments on presentation strategies to make certain there is consistent overall experience and message for the customer both online and in-stores
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of customer; initiate shared learnings with team and cross-functional partners regarding customer insights and digital marketing innovation
  • Work in a rapidly growing, constantly changing, dynamic environment with business that is customer facing 24/7/365.
  • Responsible for budget development, expense control and/or revenue generation for a department. Amount of Budgetary Responsibility: \\$5mm +
  • Supervision of team members within an area or section of a department.

Education and Training Required

  • Bachelors Degree Business, Marketing or related field

  • 5 to 10 years
