New Visions Academy of Baltimore provides a highly structured learning environment for students that encourage success.  Equal emphasis is given to improving academic performance and acquiring vocational skills. We are currently seeking a PE/Health teacher to join our staff.
Every person needs the support of others, but we look for very special people to support children with emotional and behavioral complexities. As a Teacher with New Visions Academy of Baltimore you’ll be one of those special people.
  To that end, the Teacher role is a fantastic role to continue your career path in Social and Human Services with a myriad of career options to move up and across the organization.   NVA is currently looking for a Part-Time PE/Health Teacher to provide in-home or classroom instruction, coordinate lessons that correlate with students Individual Education Plans, and maintains a high quality learning environment which meets the needs of emotionally handicapped children.


  • MSDE certification in secondary education is required
  • Must have content certification and be special education certified
  • Experience working with student with behavioral or emotional needs

Please note this is a part-time position.
