Position Summary

Implement food safety and quality procedures and monitor the food safety process to ensure the overall quality of the ready-to-eat products that are manufactured in Market District R&D kitchen facility which will serve as a local production/distribution hub.

Job Responsibilities

  • Implement established food safety and quality manual in Market District R&D Kitchen.
  • Monitor and record required quality controls steps that are defined in the quality manual during daily production.
  • Communicate food quality requirements with production and associated team members.
  • Perform simple calibration for the meansuring devices used in quality control according to the procedures in pre-defined frequency.
  • Organize completed quality assurance records and submit to review.
  • Identify food safety and quality related issues and report to the relevant department manager.

Education and Training Required

  • Associates Degree Food Science, Food Safety or Science Field

Experience Required

  • 6 months to 1 year

Experience Desired

  • Food quality control, food labeling, cGMP and HACCP

Age Requirement

  • At least 18 years of age
