Performs a variety of specialized technical tasks utilizing high frequency ultrasound waves to assist with the detection of anatomical abnormalities.<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Accredited two-year Allied Health/Nursing Degree or Bachelor of science degree and successful completion of a recognized and accredited program in Ultrasound Technology
-18 months experience in OB/GYN, Abdomen, and Small Parts Sonography preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES and/or REGISTRATIONS
Currently Registered ARDMS in physics and at least one specialty (abdomen or pelvis) and RVT/RVS or will become registered within 1 year of employment.
