- Perform on-site Acute Hospital utilization management/review and discharge planning
- Determine medical appropriateness of inpatient and outpatient services following evaluation of medical guidelines and benefit determination
- Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements
- Participate in daily patient rounds with Hospitalist
- Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Current and unrestricted California RN or LVN
- 1+ years of in-facility doing UR and discharge planning
- Proficient in Microsoft Word / Excel
- Previous case management experience
- Strong clinical documentation skills
