The Sr. VP of Enterprise Medical and Physician Support Services will report to the CEO and have primary accountability for all practice business office functions including revenue cycle management, coding compliance, physician credentialing department, provider-payer contracting, and general physician support services for the Mtn. West Region. This position will also be accountable for the future business development of MSO services for independent physician practices and groups, development of key provider relationships in the community, and support the performance of the OptumCare Network. This position will play a central role within the Mtn. West Region Mergers and Acquisitions team to support the overall growth of OptumCare’s employed and contracted physician base and membership through the organic, accretive, acquisition, and payer relations initiatives for our growth strategies. In addition, this position will oversee and direct all aspects of billing and collections for multiple companies – Southwest Medical Associates, Pacific Anesthesia Consultants, and Atlantic Anesthesia Consultants, etc. - with emphasis on reimbursement maximization and timely account resolution and collection. This area of responsibility includes accurate billing and collections in fee-for-service revenue annually, including developing strategies to implement organizational mission, vision, and values that optimize patient satisfaction and financial performance. In addition to the above, the VP will be responsible of the billing department that produces and analyzes accounts receivable and revenue reports for management, providing oversight to Clinic Directors regarding appropriate business processes and activities and oversight use of RVU’s to track provider productivity, while maintaining communication and compliance with all state and federal billing regulations.
