YOUR ASSIGNMENT Your tasks will include:

  • Responsible for the achievement of the goals determined by the Warehouse Manager
  • Implement DC quality activities to secure less damages and accuracy of inventoryEvaluate training needs of co-workers.
  • Analyze workload to secure daily volume handling and meet the seasonal fluctuation needs.
  • Provide information about plans and results to co-workers and explain their overall importance
  • Lead the implementation of new working processes and secure the compliance with given concepts
  • Responsible for the safety of co-workers and the working conditions of the workplace and securing that IKEA rules and guidelines, as well as laws and regulations are followed
  • Coordinate with other departments to make on site decisions
  • Lead and develop Co-workers within the area of responsibility and in accordance with IKEA co-worker ideal 
YOUR PROFILE Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
  • 1-3  years of related supervisory experience, preferably in a warehouse or service environment
  • Computer literate/High degree of computer use (spreadsheets and data bases)
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems, Astro and Gemini
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written
  • Proven knowledge of health and safety laws, standards and regulations related to warehousing activities
  • Detail oriented with a strong sense of urgency
  • Good analytical, follow through and organizational skills
2nd Shift: 9a-5:30p Sunday, 3:00p-11:30p Mon-Thurs
